We can't recommend Katie highly enough! She is exceptionally talented and so, so enjoyable to work with. Katie was our engagement and wedding photographer, and both times we were blown away by the experience and the gorgeous pictures. We are complete noobs when it comes to professional photography and felt entirely at home with Katie. She balanced relatability and professionalism so naturally, making it easy to have fun while ensuring we got plenty of photos. At our wedding Katie was simultaneously invisible (in a good way!) and everywhere at once. She welcomed our input, leaned into our request to prioritize candids over formals, and made sure all the posed photos felt authentic to our family. Katie is simply AMAZING! She is really more than just a photographer. From the beginning through to the end she offered endless support, advice and guidance. I've never been a photogenic person, but she made the process seamless and my fiance and I couldn't be happier with the finished product. Katie is absolutely wonderful. She did our justice of the peace ceremony and our formal wedding and both times the photos were incredible! Katie captures the beautiful candid moments and those are always my favorite photos. She's always happy, smiling, and such a pleasure to be around in general. Katie McBroom was the photographer for both my wedding and my engagement shoot. Both my husband and I don’t particularly love being in front of the camera. Katie did such an amazing job directing us, ensuring we were laughing and having a great time. She was great with our puppers during our engagement shoot and took pictures of them that we honestly didn’t know were possible. Her ability to capture their personalities on film is just amazing. I know our large and loud families gave her a run for her money during the wedding as well, but she handled it with ease. Her talent isn’t just with people, the photos she is able to capture are breathless and we will cherish them for the rest of our lives. To me a photographer has the most important job at the wedding because it’s what you will be looking at to remember your special day for the rest of your lives. Katie went above and beyond and was able to capture those special moments for us so that we can relive them forever. Katie is amazing both inside and out and I highly recommend her to all!

Katie is without a doubt, hands down absolutely fabulous! She captures families and the scenery so creatively and moves with the spirit of the surroundings. She was calm and focused on the job ahead and made sure to give good cues for those of us who need it and was patient when our son had several big feelings (breakdowns) during the shoot. I have never felt so chill with a photographer. Katie just has a magnetic personality that is perfect for her gift. If there were more stars, I would give them. She’s just the best ever!

Katie was professional, fun and had a very positive attitude! We got married in IN which is out of state from where we reside and she made the process seamless. She got straight to the point and captured my vision without much explaining at all! She was quick and had the best patience.
